Avocado Paratha || How to make Avocado Paratha or Roti || Lunchbox Recipes || Healthy breakfast



Avocado paratha is a very good variation to normal parathas.Avocado Paratha Recipe is an Indian flatbread, that makes a wholesome and delicious breakfast. We all know that avocados are loaded with monounsaturated fats (healthy fats) and fiber. From babies to adults, everyone can enjoy avocado.The creamy texture of avocados helps to keep the parathas super soft.It remains soft for 4 to 5 hrs.So its perfect Lunchbox recipe too.Serve Avocado paratha as it is or with yogurt and your favorite pickle.

Ingredients:
========
Avocado – 1 Medium size(ripe )
Whole Wheat flour – 1 cup
Coriander powder – ½ tbsp
Amchur ( dry mango ) /garam masala powder – ½ tbsp
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Coriander leaves (chopped) – handful
Chilli flakes / Green chilli paste – as per your spice levels
Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
Oil /ghee for frying
Salt

Procedure:

1.Cut the avocado into a half using a knife and remove the seed. Scoop out the avocado flesh from the peel using a spoon and put it in the bowl.
2.Add Coriander powder, Amchur powder, Turmeric powder, coriander leaves, lemon juice, Chilli flakes, and salt.
3.Mash/mix the flesh of the avocado and the masala powders using a fork.
4.Add wheat flour and mix it well.
5.Knead the dough with avocado puree, if needed add water( approximately 2 tbsp of water) and make a soft dough. Cover and rest the dough for 30 mins.
7.After 30 min, knead dough gently for a minute. Divide the dough into equal size balls.
9.Dust the balls with flour and start rolling with a rolling pin into a thin layer.
10.Heat up the tawa over medium heat. Place the rolled parathas on hot tawa and cook until little bubbles will appear.
11.Flip on the other side and apply oil/ ghee and cook until color changes( Brown spots appear). Gently press with a spatula while rotating.
12.Transfer to a plate and serve hot with yogurt and pickle or as it is.
